Bumblebee Networks packet flow

Updated: Feb 3

This document shows you how Bumblebee Networks works from packet flow point of view.

For an on-prem consumer network wishing to connect to an on-prem business application in a different organization or geographically different location, the diagram below illustrates how Bumblebee Network works.

As the above packet flow shows, the hosts in the consumer-1 network think the application App-x has a DNS name consumer1. app-x.bumblebeenet.com which resolves to the Endpoint deployed in its local network. Similarly, the hosts in the consumer-2 network think the application App-x has a DNS name consumer2.app-x.bumblebeenet.com which resolves to the Endpoint in its local network. The fact that these networks have overlapping network address range do not matter.
